We are connected through community

Hutton House promotes and supports persons with disabilities through learning and life enhancing programs that focus on each individual's strengths, abilities and interests.

Hutton House Association for Adults with Disabilities is a registered charity with over 70 years experience in facilitating the goals and aspirations of adults with disabilities.  Within each program offered, individuals may customize their involvement to maximize their own capacity to learn, work, live and participate in the community.  In turn, our vision will be realized by building community partnerships and opportunities that strengthen the inclusion of all citizens in society.

We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak, and Attawandaron peoples. This land remains home to diverse Indigenous communities, including the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, the Oneida Nation of the Thames, and the Munsee-Delaware Nation, who continue to live as sovereign Nations with unique languages, cultures, and customs. We recognize the Treaties of this land, including the Two Row Wampum, the NANFAN Treaty of 1701, the McKee Treaty of 1790, the London Township Treaty of 1796, the Huron Tract Treaty of 1827, and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant.

Honouring this land means upholding our shared responsibility to care for it while supporting Indigenous rights and sovereignty. Being an ally requires action, awareness, and a commitment to learning. We commit to ongoing learning, unlearning, and deepening our understanding of Indigenous histories and cultures as we engage in meaningful ReconciliACTION.
