Ukraine Jet Crash takes the life of former Hutton House Volunteer

We are deeply saddened by the recent news regarding the Ukrainian Jet crash that took the lives of 63 Canadians.

Hutton House would like to extend our condolences to the family, friends and to Western University for their loss, one of which was a previous Hutton House Adult Education volunteer tutor, Hadis Hayatdavoudi.

Hadis was a lovely volunteer, taking time out of her personal life to dedicate an hour a week for one-to-one tutoring for individuals with disabilities from January- May 2019.

Hadis left us with this "In my opinion the best way to appreciate your life is helping others, especially those who need this help, like people with some sort of disabilities."

We are grateful to have had such a kind person in our midst, even though it was a short time, Hutton House appreciated Hadis's efforts to give back to her London, Ontario community and her kindness will always be remembered.

Rest in peace Hadis Hayatdavoudi.
