Mayor's New Year's Honour List 2021
This year, we are proud to see not just one but two Hutton House representatives featured on the 2021 London Ontario Mayor's New Year Honours list!
The Mayor’s New Year’s Honour List is an annual recognition of citizens who have contributed outstandingly to the London community through different areas of philanthropic work.
The Humanitarianism award was received by Hutton House Employment Specialist and Case Manager, Jeremy McCall. Jeremy is honoured for his tremendous work with the Dad Club London. The Dad Club was founded in 2003 to help local dads in the area bond with their kids and meet other fellow fathers through fun and educational events. The Dad Club has grown to over 1,300 members and has helped raise donations for those in need in the London Ontario area. Check out their website www.dadclublondon.com.
Jeremy has been an amazing part of the Hutton House team and has been able to offer valuable insight and provide help in a variety of roles. Jeremy's ability to genuinely connect with those around him is truly an indicator of his authentic nature and kind heart. We are happy to have him be a part of the Hutton House team and are even more proud to see him be recognized for all of his hard work, giving back to the community.
Jean Knight, Past President of the Hutton House Board of Directors, was a valued Board member for 14 years from 2005 - 2019. Jean shared her passion for non-profit work and truly impacted the success of Hutton House through her knowledge and dedication and supporting participants, families, staff and volunteers at various Hutton House events.
Jean has been announced as the honouree receiving the Age-Friendly achievement for her contributions to empowering older adults and advancing an age-friendly community.
The Mayor's New Year's Honour List declared a total of 11 exceptional individuals who have aided in helping London Ontario in becoming a better place. Congratulations Jeremy and Jean for your well-deserved honorary mentions. Thank you both for all that you do in the community and for Hutton House.
